Your home might not have a Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN), but if it does you should be able to find your it on any of your past electricity bills. It’s a unique 11-digit number linked to your property to identify where your meter is positioned on the electricity network.
If you’re moving into an existing property the easiest way to find your new MPRN is to ask your landlord (if applicable) or the previous occupiers, or see if there are any old bills around.
If you have just built a new house and are yet to be billed for electricity, you should ring NIE Networks on 03457 643 643 to verify your MPRN.
If you’ve bought an apartment or house on a scheme, you should contact your builder.
