Smart Pay As You Go

What if I'm in financial difficulty and want a Smart Pay As You Go meter?

The Smart Pay As You Go meter can be used to help you pay back an outstanding balance if you’re struggling financially. Please note, we can only recover costs for the supply of electricity and cannot recover arrears for any other additional services or products.  

If you're in financial difficulty and your smart meter doesn’t have a high connectivity level or you don’t want to share your half hourly data from the smart meter, we can still offer you a Pay As You Go service free of charge. Please contact our Customer Service Team on 0818 81 22 20 for more information, or to discuss alternative payment plans or arrangements. 

If in the future, you choose to share your half hourly data or you have a higher connectivity level you can choose to activate your Smart Pay As You Go services.
