How are price spikes managed?

A price cap is applied to protect you from extreme price spikes. The cap is currently set at €0.50/kWh for the dynamic component, this is aligned with the floor of the Reliability Option Strike Price and controlled by SEMOpx who are licensed and regulated by the CRU.

Price spike alerts will commence once the tariff has been applied and activated. Equal Payment Plan (EPP) is not supported by the tariff.
