Smart Pay As You Go

How do I access and manage my Smart Pay As You Go app?

You can access your account for your Smart Pay As You Go electricity on the Smart Pay As You Go app or through your online account. When your Smart Pay As You Go account is set up, you’ll receive a welcome email containing your login details and the link to set up your online account. Once you follow that link, you’ll be able to set up your new password. Once this is set up you can download our Smart Pay As You Go app from the App Store or Play Store.

On your online account you will be able to manage the below:

  • Once off top-ups
  • Scheduled top-ups
  • View your top-ups.
  • View and manage your notifications
  • View your meter activity/usage
  • View your statements
  • View your account details
  • View your balance history

Once signed in, the Smart Pay As You Go app’s main screen is displayed. This is called the dashboard. This screen will show your “Wallets”, where you’ll see the active balance on your meter, the remaining days of electricity, and the top-up button to allow you to top up.

You can also view:

Account page:  Your “account” page will show:  

  • Your remaining account balances.  
  • Your remaining days of electricity.  
  • Your balance history. This will allow you to review your balance, repayment balance if applicable, your low account threshold and the meter disconnect threshold.  
  • Your top-up/transaction information history. This will provide you with the date and time of each top-up, the amount and the updated balance after the top-up was made.  

 Meter page: Your “meter” page will show: 

  • The date of your last reading.  
  • Your consumption in kWh for the period you select. 
  • Your consumption in Euros for the period you select. 

This will allow you to manage and control your consumption and your spending.

Top-up page: On this screen you can:

  1. Top up your balance.
  2. Add the card required to make this top-up.
  3. Save your card details for future payments.
  4. Remove your card details at any time.

Settings page: On this screen you can:

  1. Request to log in using fingerprint and change the theme of your application.
  2. Manage Your Notifications: This screen will allow you to manage your notifications. You can select from which channels you would like to receive your notifications, update the contact information to receive these notifications and select times you don’t want to receive notifications.
  3. Set a Low Balance Alert: This screen will allow you to set the low amount warning threshold. This will ensure we send you a “low balance message” once you hit the threshold amount you have set on this screen.
  4. Change your password: On this screen you'll be able to change your password.
