• Guaranteed discount(s) against SSE Airtricity Standard electricity unit rates. All domestic electricity prices quoted from 1 October 2022. 5% VAT rate applies. Prices may be subject to change. Figures have been rounded to two decimal places. Discounts vary by meter type. This offer is valid from 1 October 2022.

• If you have selected our Budget Plan, you will be billed every month. Your bill be sent to you via email and will also be available online. Otherwise you will receive an electricity bill every two months by the statement method you have chosen.

• The Energy Price Guarantee gives a p/kWh discount against the SSE Airtricity unit rates from 1 November 2022 and is subject to change or withdrawal on the UK Government's review.

Free Climote Heating Control Offer

• The offer applies to new and existing domestic SSE Airtricity Electricity or Dual Fuel customers (where both gas and electricity are supplied to the same address).
• This Offer is dependent on heating control ECO credits being available at your premises. The Climote install is dependent on SSE being able to redeem your relevant ECO credits. If your home was built later than 2006 it is likely that Eco credits will not be available at your premises. Please contact SSE for alternative offers if your ECO credits are unavailable for the Climote heating control.  
• While the vast majority of houses are suitable, there are a small percentage that are not. If your house is not suitable, we will contact you to discuss other available offers.
• If you are currently renting your home, you should seek the permission from your landlord prior to installation.  
• The mobile portion of the Climote controls, which allows you to control your heating from your smartphone, by text message mobile app or computer, requires a yearly subscription fee. SSE Airtricity will happily pay this on your behalf for the duration of this contract. Each subsequent year however will have a service fee payable directly to Climote. This is currently €19 per year.
• Installation of your Climote must be scheduled within 3 months and any Climote related queries will be managed by Climote Customer Service.

Alexa Devices Offer Terms

1. The Offer applies to new domestic SSE Airtricity Electricity and Dual Fuel customers (where Dual Fuel customers both receive gas and electricity to the same address), who sign up for direct debit and ebilling (the “Customer”).

2. The Customer will be emailed instructions on how to redeem the offer within 30 days provided the Customer continues to be supplied by SSE Airtricity and has completed their 14 calendar day cooling off period.

3. The Offer must then be redeemed within 3 months of the date that SSE Airtricity is registered as your supplier (the “Term”) or SSE Airtricity may withdraw the Offer.

4. It’s the responsibility of the Customer to redeem the Offer within the Term.

5. There is no cash alternative to the Offer and this Offer is not transferable

6. Alexa products are subject to availability and suitability. SSE Airtricity reserves the right to provide alternate colours at their discretion. For circumstances out of SSE Airtrcity’s control, you may be provided with an alternative Alexa model to that advertised.

7. This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

8. SSE Airtricity reserves the right to cancel or amend the Offer or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

9. If you wish to add a SSE Airtricity gas product to your electricity account, you will be moved to a SSE Airtricity dual fuel product available at the time and you will not be eligible for an additional Alexa product.

Welcome Credit Terms

1. The Offer (as defined in the next point) applies to new domestic SSE Airtricity Electricity Credit Meter customers who sign up for direct debit and ebilling (the “Customer”). 
2. Upon sign up to SSE Airtricity, the Customer is eligible for £150 Welcome Credit (the “Offer”) and will be emailed with instructions on how to redeem the Offer.
3. The Offer must be redeemed within one year of the date that SSE Airtricity is registered as your supplier (the “Term”) or SSE Airtricity may withdraw the Offer.
4. It’s the responsibility of the Customer to redeem the Offer within the Term.
5. The Offer can only be redeemed following the successful payment of your first bill and if the Customer continues to be supplied by SSE Airtricity, and continues to pay via direct debit and receives ebilling.
6. The Offer may be redeemed online through www.sseairtricity.com or by clicking on the applicable link contained within the instruction email. If you are unable to redeem online, please contact SSE Airtricity on 0345 601 9093.
7. Once redeemed the Offer will be applied to your account within 60 days and will appear on your following bill.
8. There is no cash alternative to the Offer and this Offer is not transferable.

EV Credit Offer 

EV Credit Offer

1. Price as per monthly instalment repayment schedule with the Supplier for the agreed term and also detailed in the Welcome letter from SSE Airtricity for on-bill repayment schedule.
2. The monthly instalment payable under the Offer will be charged to You via your SSE Airtricity bill.
3. Payment to be made by setting up a monthly direct debit.
4. Valid for Business Energy Customers in ROI only.
5. There is no cash alternative to this offer.
6. This offer is subject to credit check, suitability, booking availability and geographical restrictions.
7. On completion of the LED lighting upgrade works by Verde Energy Group we will send you a letter prior to the commencement of the repayment schedule, to notify You of the monthly amounts and duration of the agreement. The repayments will continue for the duration of the agreement, unless you terminate your agreement with SSE Airtricity on receipt of the welcome letter.
8. Once you have received the Welcome Letter with details of the on-bill repayment schedule, there is a 14-day cancellation period. If you wish to cancel you should contact SSE Airtricity Business Energy Customer Service on 0818 81 21 44 to confirm. SSE Airtricity will notify Verde Energy Group, who will be due payment in full for the LED lighting upgrades

Product Terms & Conditions.

1. 1 Year Keypad Electricity introductory discounts may vary by meter type (“Tariff Discounts”). 
2. Your Tariff Discounts will be applied from the date that SSE Airtricity is registered as your supplier and will continue for the remainder of that calendar month and the following 12 consecutive calendar months from that date (“Term”).
3. Your Tariff Discounts are calculated by reference to the SSE Airtricity standard tariff (“SSE Airtricity Standard”) which may be amended from time to time during the Term but this will not affect your Tariff Discount.
4. You may cancel the Tariff during the period of 14 calendar days from when the contract information is sent to you following your sign-up for this Tariff (“Cancellation Period”) by writing to us by post or e-mail or by contacting us on 0345 850 8935 (local rate.) You may use the cancellation form provided to you but you do not have to.
5. If you leave the Tariff after the “Cancellation Period” or the Agreement is ended by you at any time before the end of the Term, a termination charge of £40 may be applied to your account.
6. SSE Airtricity reserves the right to amend the electricity unit rates or charges that apply to the Tariff at any time during the Term if there is a cost to SSE Airtricity imposed by a governmental or statutory body (including a change in VAT) or as otherwise provided for in the SSE Airtricity General Terms & Conditions.  
7. The Tariff Discounts may not be used in conjunction with any other SSE Airtricity electricity offer, discount or tariff. SSE Airtricity reserves the right to withdraw the Tariff without notice at any time prior to the start of the Term. After the expiration of the Term, your SSE Airtricity account will be switched to the SSE Airtricity Standard rates applicable at that time.

Important things to know

• Timings may vary, but everything should happen within 4 to 6 weeks
• Don't worry if you don't hear from us; this means your switch is going as planned. We'll only call if something goes wrong
• Your supply won't ever be disrupted, even if the switching process takes longer than normal.

Things that can slow down the switching process

If there are any delays with your switchover, we'll always let you know.

• Your meter reading was too high/too low
  If your new meter wasn't read correctly or if the wrong meter was read, we'll ask you to submit another reading (we have a Meter Reading Guide if you need it).
• Wrong MPRN number
  Your MPRN number changes every time you move as it's linked to your property, not your account. If this happens, we'll only find out when NIE Networks verifies your first meter reading and provides us with the correct number for your property.
• Incorrect bank details (for direct debit customers)
  If any of your details weren't entered correctly, we may not be able to set up your direct debit or process your first payment.

When you should contact us

If any of your details including your name, email, address or phone number weren't entered correctly during signup, we may not be aware or be able to contact you if there's a problem. So please let us know if:

• Your Welcome Letter hasn't arrived within 2 weeks.
• Your first SSE Airtricity bill hasn't arrived within 4 to 6 weeks (check My SSE Airtricity first if you signed up to eBilling)
• You're having problems registering for My SSE Airtricity because your email address doesn't match.

You can switch to SSE Airtricity if you’re renting, provided your property has a separate electricity and/or gas meter and that your bills are currently in your name.

If you’re unsure contact your landlord first, as they’ll be responsible for taking over the account should you move out.

If your house or apartment is in a scheme

If you want to open an SSE Airtricity account for your new property, you can:

• Get the MPRN from your builder or estate agent
• Call our Sales team on 0345 864 3546, stating that yours is a new connection site.
• They’ll send a request for a new connection to Northern Ireland Electricity Networks.
• You will be contacted by Northern Ireland Electricity Networks to arrange for your meter to be installed. 

If your house is self-built

• You’ll need to contact Northern Ireland Electricity Networks directly on 0345 455 455 to complete an application form for new connections.
• Call our Sales team on 0345 864 3546 to get a meter installed and arrange for the supply of electricity to your home.
• They’ll send a request for a new connection to Northern Ireland Electricity Networks.
• Northern Ireland Electricity Networks to arrange for your meter to be installed 
• If all the work on your property has been completed to Northern Ireland Electricity Networks specifications, they will install your meter.
