• Oil tank removal: Due to hazardous waste regulations we can provide an oil tank removal service via a third-party licensed contractor. Please complete and return the Oil Tank Removal Service form to accept or decline this service. Should you wish to avail of the service, your oil tank will need to be completely empty and will normally be removed within 10 days of us receiving confirmation from you that the tank is completely empty and ready for collection.
• E7 storage heaters: We will disconnect and remove redundant E7 heaters from site. It is your responsibility as the bill payer to notify Northern Ireland Electricity to have the E7 meter disconnected as they will continue to levy their standing charge.
• Back boilers: We would be required to completely remove the back boiler in order to comply with Building Control Regulations and guidance from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). This may mean that we need to remove the fireplace and hearth to gain access to remove the water chamber and pipework. Whilst every effort will be made not to cause damage to the mantelpiece, hearth or surrounding surfaces, we cannot guarantee this and, if any damage were to occur - we will not be liable for this.
• Certificates: We will provide gas and electrical safety certificates as necessary upon completion of our works.
• Redundant materials: We will remove all redundant materials from the property upon completion of our works. Please note: We are registered to Environmental Standard ISO 14001 and operate a reuse – recycle policy and as such, any monetary value to Fusion Heating associated with redundant materials likely to be recovered from your property has been factored into the quoted price.
• All work undertaken by Fusion Heating or our Approved Contractors is fully guaranteed for a period of 12 months and extends only to workmanship and materials installed by Fusion Heating. However, please note no liability can be accepted for any defects arising on an existing system or existing pipe work which we need to connect to, for example your domestic hot and cold water. If the works being undertaken require converting from an existing open vent system to a mains pressure sealed system or Combi Boiler there will be an increase in water pressure within the system. This increase in water pressure can result in leaks from existing pipe work / joints / valves or radiators and any such defect may not have been evident on an open vent system. Defects on existing systems can include issues related to lead pipe work, tap washers failing, leaking pipes or joints or leaks, pin holing of old copper pipework or radiators etc. In addition, existing mixer showers may not be compatible with mains water pressure and may need to be replaced.
• Please note, with aggressive chemical cleaning or power flushing of old heating systems this can lead to further issues depending on how old your system is. If you wish to proceed, this will be entirely at your own risk.
• Boiler Warranty: Please note an annual service is required to keep your boiler manufactures warranty valid. Fusion Heating can remind you each year and complete the service if you request this. Please note if you try and register your warranty yourself you will not receive the full guarantee. Data Protection We will store your data securely, treat your data with respect and in compliance with current Data Protection Regulations. If you choose to avail of our Finance offer your data will be passed on to our Finance Partner for credit check and payment purposes. If you wish us to apply for Building Control for your heating works, your data will be passed on to your local Council for compliance purposes. When we register your boiler with the manufacturer for your parts and labour warranty, we will pass on your details for warranty purposes. We will not share your data with any other third party without your written consent. By completing our acceptance form you are agreeing to these terms.

• Guaranteed discount(s) against SSE Airtricity Standard electricity unit rates. All domestic electricity prices quoted from 1 October 2022. Subject to a 1 year fixed term contract. 5% VAT rate applies. Prices may be subject to change. From 1 November 2023 we’re reducing our electricity standard unit rates by 7%. Figures have been rounded to two decimal places. Discounts vary by meter type.

• If you have selected our Budget Plan, you will be billed every month. Your bill be sent to you via email and will also be available online. Otherwise you will receive an electricity bill every two months by the statement method you have chosen.

• The Energy Price Guarantee gives a p/kWh discount against the SSE Airtricity unit rates from 1 November 2022 and is subject to change or withdrawal on the UK Government's review.

7. 8. Once you have received the Welcome Letter with details of the on-bill repayment schedule, there is a 14-day cancellation period. If you wish to cancel you should contact SSE Airtricity Business Energy Customer Service on 0818 81 21 44 to confirm. SSE Airtricity will notify Verde Energy Group, who will be due payment in full for the LED lighting upgrades

Important things to know

• Timings may vary, but everything should happen within 4 to 6 weeks
• Don't worry if you don't hear from us; this means your switch is going as planned. We'll only call if something goes wrong
• Your supply won't ever be disrupted, even if the switching process takes longer than normal.

Things that can slow down the switching process

If there are any delays with your switchover, we'll always let you know.

• Your meter reading was too high/too low
  If your new meter wasn't read correctly or if the wrong meter was read, we'll ask you to submit another reading (we have a Meter Reading Guide if you need it).
• Wrong MPRN number
  Your MPRN number changes every time you move as it's linked to your property, not your account. If this happens, we'll only find out when NIE Networks verifies your first meter reading and provides us with the correct number for your property.
• Incorrect bank details (for direct debit customers)
  If any of your details weren't entered correctly, we may not be able to set up your direct debit or process your first payment.

When you should contact us

If any of your details including your name, email, address or phone number weren't entered correctly during signup, we may not be aware or be able to contact you if there's a problem. So please let us know if:

• Your Welcome Letter hasn't arrived within 2 weeks.
• Your first SSE Airtricity bill hasn't arrived within 4 to 6 weeks (check My SSE Airtricity first if you signed up to eBilling)
• You're having problems registering for My SSE Airtricity because your email address doesn't match.

You can switch to SSE Airtricity if you’re renting, provided your property has a separate electricity and/or gas meter and that your bills are currently in your name.

If you’re unsure contact your landlord first, as they’ll be responsible for taking over the account should you move out.

If your house or apartment is in a scheme

If you want to open an SSE Airtricity account for your new property, you can:

• Get the MPRN from your builder or estate agent
• Call our Sales team on 0345 864 3546, stating that yours is a new connection site.
• They’ll send a request for a new connection to Northern Ireland Electricity Networks.
• You will be contacted by Northern Ireland Electricity Networks to arrange for your meter to be installed. 

If your house is self-built

• You’ll need to contact Northern Ireland Electricity Networks directly on 0345 455 455 to complete an application form for new connections.
• Call our Sales team on 0345 864 3546 to get a meter installed and arrange for the supply of electricity to your home.
• They’ll send a request for a new connection to Northern Ireland Electricity Networks.
• Northern Ireland Electricity Networks to arrange for your meter to be installed 
• If all the work on your property has been completed to Northern Ireland Electricity Networks specifications, they will install your meter.
