How can I be sure I won't be double-billed?

To prevent you from being double-billed, we will contact your old supplier and let them know that you’re switching to us.

To ensure there is no overlap, i.e., that you're not charged twice for the same electricity, the meter reading that is used to calculate your final bill is the same that's used to open your new account with us.

Your first SSE Airtricity bill will arrive 2 to 4 weeks after this. If you continue to receive bills from your old supplier past this point please contact our Customer Service team.
