Subject to a 1 year fixed term contract. 5% VAT rate applies. Prices may be subject to change. From 1 November 2023 we’re reducing our electricity standard unit rates by 7%. Figures have been rounded to two decimal places. Discounts vary by meter type.

• If you have selected our Budget Plan, you will be billed every month. Your bill be sent to you via email and will also be available online. Otherwise you will receive an electricity bill every two months by the statement method you have chosen.

• The Energy Price Guarantee gives a p/kWh discount against the SSE Airtricity unit rates from 1 November 2022 and is subject to change or withdrawal on the UK Government's review.

1. Price as per monthly instalment repayment schedule with the Supplier for the agreed term and also detailed in the Welcome letter from SSE Airtricity for on-bill repayment schedule.

7. 8. Once you have received the Welcome Letter with details of the on-bill repayment schedule, there is a 14-day cancellation period. If you wish to cancel you should contact SSE Airtricity Business Energy Customer Service on 0818 81 21 44 to confirm. SSE Airtricity will notify Verde Energy Group, who will be due payment in full for the LED lighting upgrades

You can find your Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) or Gas Point Reference Number (GPRN) on any of your past bills. Your MPRN will be 11 digits, and your GPRN will be 7 digits. 

If you’re moving into a new property

Your MPRN/GPRN is linked to your property so it will change every time you move. If you’re moving into an existing property the easiest way to find your new MPRN/GPRN is to ask your landlord (if applicable) or the previous occupiers, or see if there are any old bills around. 

If you have just built a new house and are yet to be billed for electricity, you should ring:

• ESB Networks on 0818 372 757 to verify your MPRN or
• Gas Networks Ireland on 0818 200 694 to verify your GPRN.

If you’ve bought an apartment or house on a scheme, you should contact your builder. 

If you're a current SSE Airtricity customer

You can find your MPRN/GPRN on the top right hand corner of any of your past bills. You can also find it by going to My SSE Airtricity online. Once you're logged in just:

• Click on 'Account Details' and scroll down to 'Supply address details' or
• Click on 'Billing Overview' and open any of your past PDF bills.

If you've tried all of the above and still can't find your MPRN/GPRN, just contact our Customer Service team.

You’ll need these details to switch to SSE Airtricity:

• For electricity, your new MPRN
• For gas, your new GPRN
• Your bank details if you are paying by direct debit
• You may need to supply an up to date meter reading if you do not have a smart meter for electricity with Interval (30 minute) Smart Services activated.

Ways to switch

Once you have all these details you can either switch online here or call our Sales team on 0818 81 81 10.  

Switching is easy. It only takes a few minutes. The length of time it takes us to complete your switch and send your account number can vary depending on your utility type and your meter configuration.

However, your registration is usually completed within two weeks, and your first SSE Airtricity bill should arrive within 8 to 10 weeks of your sign-up date.
