What is debt-flagging and why has it been introduced?

Debt-flagging is a new code of practice, which has been introduced by the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) to reduce the number of energy customers changing suppliers to avoid debt & disconnection in both the business & domestic markets.

It applies to all energy suppliers in the Republic of Ireland
