What happens when my account is in credit?

If your account is in credit this usually means:

  • The payments you made during your billing period were more than your bill amount
  • You had a reversal that was larger than your current bill

We’ll automatically roll your credit over to your next bill, but if the balance is significant you can contact our Customer Services team to arrange a refund.

Budget Plan customers:

Sometimes your statement will appear in credit – this is because you pay more than you normally would during the summer months to avoid large bills in winter.

If your credit balance remains significant we will reduce your monthly payments to balance it out – it doesn’t mean you are actually due a refund.
