1 Year Electricity

If you have selected our Budget Plan, you will be billed every month. Your bill be sent to you via email and will also be available online. Otherwise you will receive an electricity bill every two months by the statement method you have chosen.
The Energy Price Guarantee gives a p/kWh discount against the SSE Airtricity unit rates from 1 November 2022 and is subject to change or withdrawal on the UK Government's review.

Free Climote Heating Control Offer

The offer applies to new and existing domestic SSE Airtricity Electricity or Dual Fuel customers (where both gas and electricity are supplied to the same address).
This Offer is dependent on heating control ECO credits being available at your premises. The Climote install is dependent on SSE being able to redeem your relevant ECO credits. If your home was built later than 2006 it is likely that Eco credits will not be available at your premises. Please contact SSE for alternative offers if your ECO credits are unavailable for the Climote heating control.
While the vast majority of houses are suitable, there are a small percentage that are not. If your house is not suitable, we will contact you to discuss other available offers.
If you are currently renting your home, you should seek the permission from your landlord prior to installation.
The mobile portion of the Climote controls, which allows you to control your heating from your smartphone, by text message mobile app or computer, requires a yearly subscription fee. SSE Airtricity will happily pay this on your behalf for the duration of this contract. Each subsequent year however will have a service fee payable directly to Climote. This is currently €19 per year.
Installation of your Climote must be scheduled within 3 months and any Climote related queries will be managed by Climote Customer Service.

Alexa Devices Offer Terms

The Offer applies to new domestic SSE Airtricity Electricity and Dual Fuel customers (where Dual Fuel customers both receive gas and electricity to the same address), who sign up for direct debit and ebilling (the “Customer”).
The Customer will be emailed instructions on how to redeem the offer within 30 days provided the Customer continues to be supplied by SSE Airtricity and has completed their 14 calendar day cooling off period.
The Offer must then be redeemed within 3 months of the date that SSE Airtricity is registered as your supplier (the “Term”) or SSE Airtricity may withdraw the Offer.
It’s the responsibility of the Customer to redeem the Offer within the Term.
There is no cash alternative to the Offer and this Offer is not transferable
Alexa products are subject to availability and suitability. SSE Airtricity reserves the right to provide alternate colours at their discretion. For circumstances out of SSE Airtrcity’s control, you may be provided with an alternative Alexa model to that advertised.
This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
SSE Airtricity reserves the right to cancel or amend the Offer or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
If you wish to add a SSE Airtricity gas product to your electricity account, you will be moved to a SSE Airtricity dual fuel product available at the time and you will not be eligible for an additional Alexa product.

Welcome Credit Terms

The Offer (as defined in the next point) applies to new domestic SSE Airtricity Electricity Credit Meter customers who sign up for direct debit and ebilling (the “Customer”).
Upon sign up to SSE Airtricity, the Customer is eligible for £150 Welcome Credit (the “Offer”) and will be emailed with instructions on how to redeem the Offer.
The Offer must be redeemed within one year of the date that SSE Airtricity is registered as your supplier (the “Term”) or SSE Airtricity may withdraw the Offer.
It’s the responsibility of the Customer to redeem the Offer within the Term.
The Offer can only be redeemed following the successful payment of your first bill and if the Customer continues to be supplied by SSE Airtricity, and continues to pay via direct debit and receives ebilling.
The Offer may be redeemed online through www.sseairtricity.com or by clicking on the applicable link contained within the instruction email. If you are unable to redeem online, please contact SSE Airtricity on 0345 601 9093.

On completion of the LED lighting upgrade works by Verde Energy Group we will send you a letter prior to the commencement of the repayment schedule, to notify You of the monthly amounts and duration of the agreement. The repayments will continue for the duration of the agreement, unless you terminate your agreement with SSE Airtricity on receipt of the welcome letter.
Once you have received the Welcome Letter with details of the on-bill repayment schedule, there is a 14-day cancellation period. If you wish to cancel you should contact SSE Airtricity Business Energy Customer Service on 0818 81 21 44 to confirm. SSE Airtricity will notify Verde Energy Group, who will be due payment in full for the LED lighting upgrades

1 Year Electricity Night Boost Terms & Conditions - 1 year fixed term contract

These terms apply to the 1 Year Electricity Night Boost tariff (“Tariff”).
The Tariff is available to new SSE Airtricity electricity domestic energy customers.
These terms are in addition to: a. General Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Electricity and/or Gas by SSE Airtricity Limited to domestic premises in the Republic of Ireland (“SSE Airtricity General Terms & Conditions” which can be found on our website at www.sseairtricity.com; and b. SSE Airtricity’s customer agreement form (“CAF”). Together these terms, the SSE Airtricity General Terms & Conditions and the CAF are referred to as the (“Agreement”).
In the event of any conflict between (i) these terms, (ii) the SSE Airtricity General Terms & Conditions and (iii) the CAF, these terms will apply.
Your discounts (“Tariff Discounts”) as set out in the table below, are against the SSE Airtricity standard tariff rates (“SSE Airtricity Standard”). SSE Airtricity Standard rates may be amended from time to time during the Term, but this will not affect your Tariff Discounts.
Your Tariff Discounts will be applied from the date that SSE Airtricity is registered as your supplier and will continue for a period of one (1) calendar year from that date (“Term”).
Once you have signed up, there is a 14 day cancellation period. There is no penalty for cancelling your switch during the cancellation period. You may use the cancellation form provided to you but you do not have to. However, if you leave the Tariff after the cancellation period or the Agreement is ended by you at any time before the end of the Term, a termination charge of €50 will be applied to your account.
If you do not pay by direct debit, or if you subsequently cancel your direct debit, a €300 deposit will be applied to your account and you shall not be entitled to receive your direct debit discounts.
After the expiration of the Term or if you leave the Tariff before the end of the contract, your account will be switched to the standard SSE Airtricity rates applicable at the time.
In order to avail of our night boost tariff we require half-hourly reads from your smart meter. If the signal from your smart meter is not sufficient to support the transfer of half-hourly data, we will make every effort to contact you to discuss other suitable tariffs and in the meantime your account will be switched to the standard SSE Airtricity rates applicable at the time.
SSE Airtricity reserves the right to amend the unit rates or charges that apply to the Tariff during the Term if there is a cost to SSE Airtricity imposed by a governmental or statutory body (including a change in VAT) or as otherwise provided for in the SSE Airtricity General Terms & Conditions.
The Tariff Discounts may not be used in conjunction with any other SSE Airtricity offer, discount or tariff. If you wish to add a SSE Airtricity gas product to your account, you will be moved to a SSE Airtricity dual fuel product available at the time.
SSE Airtricity reserves the right to withdraw the Tariff without notice at any time prior to the start of the Term.

1 Year Keypad Electricity introductory discounts may vary by meter type (“Tariff Discounts”).
Your Tariff Discounts will be applied from the date that SSE Airtricity is registered as your supplier and will continue for the remainder of that calendar month and the following 12 consecutive calendar months from that date (“Term”).
Your Tariff Discounts are calculated by reference to the SSE Airtricity standard tariff (“SSE Airtricity Standard”) which may be amended from time to time during the Term but this will not affect your Tariff Discount.
You may cancel the Tariff during the period of 14 calendar days from when the contract information is sent to you following your sign-up for this Tariff (“Cancellation Period”) by writing to us by post or e-mail or by contacting us on 0345 850 8935 (local rate.) You may use the cancellation form provided to you but you do not have to.
If you leave the Tariff after the “Cancellation Period” or the Agreement is ended by you at any time before the end of the Term, a termination charge of £40 may be applied to your account.
SSE Airtricity reserves the right to amend the electricity unit rates or charges that apply to the Tariff at any time during the Term if there is a cost to SSE Airtricity imposed by a governmental or statutory body (including a change in VAT) or as otherwise provided for in the SSE Airtricity General Terms & Conditions.

Free Climote Heating Control Offer

The offer applies to new and existing domestic SSE Airtricity Electricity or Dual Fuel customers (where both gas and electricity are supplied to the same address).
This Offer is dependent on heating control ECO credits being available at your premises. The Climote install is dependent on SSE being able to redeem your relevant ECO credits. If your home was built later than 2006 it is likely that Eco credits will not be available at your premises. Please contact SSE for alternative offers if your ECO credits are unavailable for the Climote heating control.
While the vast majority of houses are suitable, there are a small percentage that are not. If your house is not suitable, we will contact you to discuss other available offers.
If you are currently renting your home, you should seek the permission from your landlord prior to installation.
The mobile portion of the Climote controls, which allows you to control your heating from your smartphone, by text message mobile app or computer, requires a yearly subscription fee. SSE Airtricity will happily pay this on your behalf for the duration of this contract. Each subsequent year however will have a service fee payable directly to Climote. This is currently €19 per year.
Installation of your Climote must be scheduled within 3 months and any Climote related queries will be managed by Climote Customer Service.

Alexa Devices Terms

The Offer applies to new domestic SSE Airtricity Electricity and Dual Fuel customers (where Dual Fuel customers both receive gas and electricity to the same address), who sign up for direct debit and ebilling (the “Customer”).
The Customer will be emailed instructions on how to redeem the offer within 30 days provided the Customer continues to be supplied by SSE Airtricity and has completed their 14 calendar day cooling off period.
The Offer must then be redeemed within 3 months of the date that SSE Airtricity is registered as your supplier (the “Term”) or SSE Airtricity may withdraw the Offer.
It’s the responsibility of the Customer to redeem the Offer within the Term.

You can find your Meter Point Reference Number (MPRN) or Gas Point Reference Number (GPRN) on any of your past bills. Your MPRN will be 11 digits, and your GPRN will be 7 digits.

If you’re moving into a new property

Your MPRN/GPRN is linked to your property so it will change every time you move. If you’re moving into an existing property the easiest way to find your new MPRN/GPRN is to ask your landlord (if applicable) or the previous occupiers, or see if there are any old bills around.

If you have just built a new house and are yet to be billed for electricity, you should ring:

ESB Networks on 0818 372 757 to verify your MPRN or
Gas Networks Ireland on 0818 200 694 to verify your GPRN.

If you’ve bought an apartment or house on a scheme, you should contact your builder.

If you're a current SSE Airtricity customer

You can find your MPRN/GPRN on the top right hand corner of any of your past bills. You can also find it by going to My SSE Airtricity online. Once you're logged in just:

Switching is easy. It only takes a few minutes. The length of time it takes us to complete your switch and send your account number can vary depending on your utility type and your meter configuration.

However, your registration is usually completed within two weeks, and your first SSE Airtricity bill should arrive within 8 to 10 weeks of your sign-up date.
