What is a GPRN and why do I need it?

Your Gas Point Reference Number (GPRN) is a unique identification number (7 digits long) assigned to the gas meter on your premises. You can find your GPRN on any of your past bills. We need your GPRN to ensure we transfer the correct gas point connected to your premises as quickly and smoothly as possible.

If you do not have a copy of any past bills, you can contact Gas Networks Ireland on 0818 411 511 with the meter serial number displayed on the face of the meter and Gas Networks Ireland will provide you with the GPRN for your gas meter point on your premises.
